Our Stations

Unlike most stations in the Lower 48, KCAM and KRSA target a broad audience, including both Christian and non-Christian listeners. The efforts of KCAM and KRSA to offer quality broadcasting and a wide variety of programming are appreciated by all those who rely on the stations.

KCAM

KCAM Much of Alaska is sparsely populated, with many families living in rural area far from church and neighbors. As the only local radio station in the Copper River Valley, KCAM fills a variety of needs ranging from local news, sports, and weather, to children’s programs, entertainment, financial advice, and family help. Programs such as the Caribou Clatters relay personal messages to those without two-way communication, providing that vital link between loved ones.

Throughout the day Christian programs and music bring the good news of Jesus Christ into homes to encourage believers and evangelize non-believers. KCAM is a place of refuge for many residents – always there when they need a friend.

KRSA

KRSAKRSA is the station people turn to for “Faith, Family and Fun.” The fishing and timber industries take a toll on family life in Southeast Alaska. Since 1982, KRSA has been reaching out to these needy families and offering hope and healing in Jesus Christ. The daily broadcasts from Petersburg are carried through translators to Sitka, Wrangell, and Haines providing hope to the region’s fishing fleet and the many islands that make up Alaska’s Inside Passage. KRSA’s 24-hour programming offers a unique blend of news, information, inspiration, and entertainment. Through the encouraging words and uplifting music, God is using KRSA to attract listeners to the gospel.

Village Outreach

Northern Light Network has a vision to expand Christian radio broadcasting to the First Nations people of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region of Alaska in a culturally relevant and God honoring way.
