Our Purpose
About half of all Alaskans live around Anchorage. Most other people live in small towns or villages that cannot support a Christian radio station. The rest live out on their own, miles away from their nearest neighbor or church. The radio stations of the Northern Light Network can penetrate into these hard-to-reach areas.
The goal of the NLN is to proclaim Jesus as Lord across Alaska by radio through Evangelism, Discipleship, and Public Service.
This results in a wide variety of programs which are all "family-friendly" and come from a distinctly Christian world view. However, everything in our broadcast day is formed to connect with people and draw them closer to our loving God through the one and only Savior Jesus Christ.
